From Industrial Design to Digital UX – Solving Complexity with Clarity

Hi! I’m Yu-Hsuan Chung, but everyone calls me Sally. I began in Industrial Design as an undergraduate, where studying human‑factors principles sparked my passion for usability. This led me to pursue and earn a Master’s in Interactive Design at SCAD.

Over the past few years, I’ve designed web and mobile experiences across fintech, SaaS, IoT, B2B, and consumer-facing products—translating research insights, business needs, and user goals into clear, intuitive interfaces. I'm quick to learn and always collaborative, I bring thoughtful solutions to complex design challenges.

I specialize in web and app design for B2B, B2C, and SaaS products, turning research insights into meaningful design solutions. With a detail-oriented mindset and a love for collaboration, I’m skilled in wireframing, prototyping, and user testing to bring seamless digital experiences to life.

My Master’s degree in Interactive Design from SCAD strengthened my abilities in both design thinking and critical thinking, allowing me to approach problems with clarity and creativity.

Beyond Design

In My Free Time, I Like to Travel With My Film Camera — Embracing the Uncertainty of Film to Spark Creativity

I shoot film with my Nikon FM2 while traveling, embracing the quiet surprise of each developed negative and letting it fuel my curiosity in design. Using my 50mm lens, I capture the quiet details of a place without losing the bigger story — much like how I design.
